Overview

At Hira Compounds, every order is carefully inspected and packaged before dispatch. If something arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we want to make it right. Because all products are supplied strictly for laboratory research use, returns are accepted only under the conditions described below.

Eligible Returns

You may request a return, replacement, or refund within 30 days of delivery if:

  • The product arrived damaged or compromised in transit.
  • You received an incorrect item that does not match your order.
  • The product is defective or was not as described at the time of purchase.

To be eligible, the item must be in its original packaging and the issue must be reported within the return window with supporting photos.

Non-Returnable Items

For safety, integrity, and the research-only nature of our products, the following are not eligible for return:

  • Products that have been opened, used, or tampered with (unless they arrived damaged or defective).
  • Items reported after the 30-day return window has closed.
  • Items returned without prior authorization from our support team.
  • Orders where the issue results from improper storage or handling after delivery.

How to Start a Return

  1. Contact us at orders@hiracompounds.com within 30 days of delivery.
  2. Include your order number, the affected product, and a clear description of the issue.
  3. Attach photos of the product and packaging showing the damage or error.
  4. Our team will review your request and respond with return authorization and next steps.
Please do not ship any item back until you have received a return authorization from our team. Returns sent without authorization cannot be processed.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected — or your claim for a damaged or incorrect item is approved — we will notify you of the outcome. If approved, your refund is issued to the original payment method, or a replacement is shipped at no additional cost to you. Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days of approval, though the time for funds to appear may vary by your bank or payment provider.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, please contact us immediately with photos. We will prioritize your claim and arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.

Order Cancellations

Orders can be canceled before they are processed or shipped. Because we begin fulfillment promptly after payment is confirmed, please contact our support team as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be canceled but may be eligible for return under this policy.

Return Shipping Costs

If the return is due to our error — a damaged, defective, or incorrect item — we cover the cost of replacement or refund. For all other approved returns, return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where the return is due to our error.
